Sculpture Exhibition of Athena Antoniadou Held in Athens

Athena Antoniadou, born in 1962 in Cyprus and studied in Paris and Texas.

In 1985 she completed a Bachelor of Fine Arts at The California College of Arts and Crafts in Oakland. She has traveled to Greece, Italy, France, Great Britain, Sweden, the Czech Republic and Cyprus. In 1989, after receiving a scholarship at the Complutense University of Madrid, she went to the Spanish capital where she lived until 1993.

Since 2001, she worked in her studio in Berlin, and still traveled to Africa, Peru and Argentina. Her works have been exhibited in solo and group exhibitions and can be found in  many private collections and museums in Greece.  Athena Antoniadou has travelled and explored many places and she transmits all her experiences to her audience, like a colorful narration in a personal diary.  Through her work, she opens the way to diversity and the beauty stemming from it.

The exhibition runs from: July 15th-August 5th, 2011. Hours: Mon-Friday: 10 a.m.-4 p.m. at The
