The delegation of Rwanda in the Special Olympics in Athens left one of their athletes behind a few days after the end of the Games in Athens.
The delegation returned to Rwanda while the athlete was found in the morning of Thursday, July 7th wandering, dehydrated and exhausted, around the stadium OAKA.
The athlete was transferred immediately to the Polyclinic of Athens and when his identity became known the necessary procedures began so he would return to his homeland.
Up until now, it has not been announced why the delegation left the young athlete behind.
