Citifield attracted more than 36.000 soccer fans for the friendly game of Greece vs Ecuador. Although Tziolis scored for Greece just after 16 minutes after the start of the game, Greece did not won. Ecuador scored a goal and the game ended a tie. The Greek-Americans came from Astoria, while the Ecuadoran fans arrived from Corona and Elmhurst, shelling out an average of nearly $50 per seat.
