Eurovision 2011 Winners – Azerbaijan With ""Running Scared" – Greece to 7th place

Congratulations to this year’s Eurovision winners… Azerbaijan who won the contest with 221 points. The song “Running Scared”, sung by Eldar and Nigar was followed by Italy in second place (189 points), with the song “Follia D’Amore” sung by Raphael Gualazzi and in third place (185 points) Sweden, with the song “Popular” sung by Mika Newton.
Loukas Yiorkas with his brilliant performance, brought Greece to 7th place with the song “Watch My Dance” and gained 120 points during a wonderful evening of outstanding musical talent.
Azerbaijan made its debut at the Eurovision Song Contest in 2008, and after wowing European audiences with last night’s flawless performance, Eldar and Nigar have proudly taken Eurovision 2012, to Azerbaijan where it will be held in Baku, the country’s capital.
