A celebratory event for the 101 years of the Battle of Kileler was organized by the Club of Thessalians Düsseldorf. The event under the name THESSALY took place Saturday, the 12th of March 2011 in the room of the Saint Apostle Andrew’s Parish Centre, Am Schönenkamop 1, Düsseldorf Eller. The event was musically edited by the folk group “Omonia”. The dancing part of the Club presented folk dancing and the event included Greek wines and souvlaki.
