An article on Huffington Post has an original proposal for Greece to achieve recovery and sustainable growth, since –as it claims- rational, “economic” appeals to people’s minds are not enough.
So what would it take to overcome the situation? According to Huffington Post’s Vanessa Andris, a first generation Greek-American, it would take a new hero.
Greeks are fed up with politicians, they do not listen to them anymore so they might listen to a mousician or a singer. Singers are today’s truth-tellers and prophets, since they still celebrate the unique beauty of the Greek spirit. These are people who can call Greeks back to consciousness. Through their lyrics they try to uphold “doing the right thing,” and thus make profound changes in their individual behaviorse.
