Alexander the Great Exhibition Hosted at Ashmolean Museum, Oxford

The exhibition  “From Heracles to Alexander: Treasures from the Royal Capital of Macedon, a Hellenic Kingdom in the Age of Democracy” will be on view from April 6th to August 29th, at the Ashmolean Museum in Oxford. The main goal of the exhibition is to promote the evolution of the Macedonian kingdom and the era of Alexander the Great.  Alexander the Great is believed to be a descendant of the mythical hero, Hercules. The exhibition is organized by the Ministry of Culture and Tourism, the IZ Ephorate of Prehistoric and Classical Antiquities and by the Ashmolean Museum.
