For the first time in Greece, a subscription channel and a free access channel will cooperate to broadcast a soccer game. This cooperation is to support its charitable character and promote Greece abroad.
The channels Nova and Skai will broadcast the “8th Annual Match Against Poverty”, in order to raise funds for the nearly 25 million people affected by the Haiti earthquake and Pakistan floods. The Friends of Zidane and Ronaldo vs. Olympiakos All-Stars, will transfer the spectacular game in every corner of the world. The charitable match is organized with the cooperation of the U.N. and Olympiakos CFP. The game will also be live broadcasted by SKAI radio and on the internet at: woop.gr. The whole TV production will be broadcasted in high definition image quality. Several channels of Europe, Asia, Australia and Latin America have asked for the permission to broadcast the event as well.
