Modern Greek looks set to return to the Languages Other Than English (LOTE) program at Wales Street Primary School next year. This stems from initial results from a parent survey announced last Tuesday. The survey showed around 70% support. Angelo Dritsas, parent advocate, said of the 160 surveys returned, 107 favored the return of modern Greek and Chinese. Only 46 parents favored the teaching of only one language; Italian.
