Cretan Man Offers 6,000 Euros to Family About to Loose Home

A brave man from Crete offered without hesitation, 6,000 euros to a compatriot of his who was about to lose his house due to debt. The 65- year- old man was touched by emotion when he learned from the local newspaper that the man and his family risked the loss of their house because of an unpaid check.
“I couldn’t sleep at night if I knew I could have done something and I didn’t. The fact that I grew up in absolute poverty makes me want to help people and I will continue tο do it, as long as I live”, confessed the man from Heraclion, Crete.
The owner of the house eagerly accepted the money as he had no other way to save his home. Now he is able to repay his debt and save the house he inherited from his mother. The value of the house is estimated at about 330,000 euros.
