The Athens Goethe Institute will present a film tribute, dedicated to the protagonists of immigration.
This occurs half a century after the bilateral labor agreement between Greece and Germany for the recruitment of Greek guest workers in industry and handicraft. The tribute began in October and continues until Wednesday, the 24th of November. “Small Odysseys” by Marcos Gastin is a festival where eight immigrants share their own different yet similar stories.
Screenings will take place in the presence of the director and protagonists.
Marcos Gastin is a French director who made Greece his homeland in 2006. He filmed the series titled “Small Odysseys” that contains 10 episodes. The series tells the stories of foreign immigrants in Greece and Greek immigrants abroad.
