Early this morning,’Doukisa’,left this world after a long life battle with cancer. Doukis, sang for ore than thirty years and offered songs considered a landmark in everyone’s sole. Her voice is engraved both in our hearts and memory.
She performed songs written by Vasili Tsitsani, Taki Moysafiri, Elias Philippou Christodoylopoyloy, Makis, and many others. She was born in 1941, in Piraeus, with a distinctive voice that was soon meant to captivate all Greeks.
Her funeral will take place this Saturday, the 2ed of October.
