The 3rd autumnn flower shop show opened today at Kotzia Square in central Athens. The show runs until October 10th and is organised annually by the Municipality of Athens and the Agricultural Cooperative of Attica. It is a unique show that transforms Kotzia Square and the city centre into a huge colourful garden. Observers will have the opportunity to admire the show daily basis from 10:00 a.m to 10:00p.m.
All visitors will be able to see and buy unique flowers and plants grown in Greece for low prices. They will also have the opportunity to meet with Greek producers to gain fauna knowledge.
An event is scheduled for tomorrow evening to celebrate the inauguration of the show. Athens Mayor Nikitas Kaklamanis and the Deputy Mayor for Greenery George Xepapadakos will be present. The annual shop show’s goal is to raise public awareness for a more green Greece!
