NYDailyNews just reported that Oprah had to end her vacation in Greece early because her companion’s mother passed away. Oprah Winfrey, her longtime companion Stedman Graham, and her best friend, Gayle King, were taking a private yacht tour of the Greek islands with friends when Graham learned that his mother, Mary Graham, had died at her home in Whitesboro, N.J., on Aug. 10.
Oprah and her friends visited many Greek islands and were spotted on the island of Kefallonia in the Ionian sea. Locals said that she went swimming almost every day and she was extremely friendly with people while on the Ionian island.
A spokesman for Winfrey confirms that she attended Graham’s funeral, which was held in Whitesboro on Saturday. Condolences to Stedman Graham.
