The staff and doctors, are today due to stage a sit-in at their workplace to demand back pay and protest shortages in laboratory equipment, pharmaceuticals and other supplies, at the Nikaia General Hospital next to Piraeus. Moreover, doctors at the Aghia Sofia Children’s Hospital in Goudi at the city center and at the Attikon Hospital in Haidari, northwest of Athens, are also threatening actions due to staff shortages.
