The Ruthless ‘Spider Woman’ Caught in Her Own Web

“I killed Tassos Tsagaropoulos,” comes out from the shocking cynical confession of the ‘spider woman’ long after a 24 hour interrogation. The 54 year old woman from Albania confessed that she and her boyfriend murdered the businessman. She introduced her 61 year old Greek partner as her uncle at the local community of Diakoptou.
Vagelitsa Zagka, is described as a ruthless, cunning murderer from those who were there during her confession.
While showing herself as a mere accomplice of the crime, she claims that her boyfriend died from pathological causes in September 2009, shortly after the murder of businessman.
The authorities continue the investigations, in order to, determine if indeed the accomplice has died or if the 54 year old woman is lying, in order for him to escape.
The ‘spider woman’ revealed all that happened that night. A night of an atrocious murder. At first she claims that, she offered the businessman an orange juice which she had previously mixed with a hypnotic sedative. Then, when he started to get dizzy, the 61 year old partner hit him on the head with hammer while she stabbed him in the neck. After that, together they moved the corpse into the basement, opened a hole under the shower and practically built over his body.
But when the time comes for her to explain her motive, the 54 year old is very careful with her replies. She argues that they had economic differences with the victim, who pressured and threatened her.
However, her claims are not convincing the police. They believe that behind this coldblooded murder, more people are involved. Moreover, the way in which they attempted to get rid of the corpse refers to an Albanian mafia procedure.
The Vagelitsa Zagka was arrested on Saturday in Loytsa, she is going to be charged with murder. It must be said that the ‘spider woman’ has also 10 arrest warrants and three convictions for fraud, robbery and theft in her name.
