A tribute to the life and work of the award-winning distinguished author of the Greek Diaspora, Ms. Yota Strati (photo) is being organized on June 5th at the Cultural Centre of the Archdiocese by the Association of Athenians in New York.
“Creations of a lifetime” is the general title of the event, which will present excerpts from her poetry, theatre plays and short stories. Furthermore, songs will be performed from her theatre play “Jester by Kin”. At the same time the presentation of her new poetry collection entitled “Written in Blood” will be held.
Furthermore, the photographic work of Ms. Strati will be presented at the hall of the building downstairs, whereby its Cultural Centre is hosted. Artist Seraphim Lazos will also be taking part.
