Liberopoulos goes back to AEK

Nikos Liberopoulos is returning to AEK after two seasons in Germany, as on Wednesday he signed a one-year contract with his former club.
The 35-year-old striker said after signing his deal with the Athens side that this will be a great season for him and that only if AEK are united can prosper.
AEK are therefore correcting the mistake they committed two years ago by letting Liberopoulos go, and are welcoming back the player who spent the last two years successfully at Eintracht Frankfurt.
Liberopoulos spent five years with AEK between 2003 and 2008, after moving across Athens from Panathinaikos.
He began his career at Erani Filiatron of his hometown before making his name at Kalamata in the top flight.
Another former AEK player, Euro-2004 winner Traianos Dellas is also reported to be close to returning to the club.
