The solidarity of Hellenism and preservation of links for a common course, through close cooperation with Greek Communities of Belgium for their better development in issues that concern them, is the common mission of the new Board of Directors of the Federation of Greek Communities of Belgium.
The composition of the new board of directors was derived from the elections of May 28th at the central offices of the Federation in Brussels and is as follows:
President: Tegelidou Gesthemane (Jessica), f. President of the Hellenic Community of Brussels, European Parliament official General Secretary: Evdoxia Panta, outgoing President of the Federation, European Commission Official Treasurer: Thanassis Kypritzis, from the Hellenic Community of Charleroi, freelancer
Members: George Sidiropoulos, former President of the Association of Pontian Greeks in Belgium, freelancer, George Karmanis, Brussels City Councillor, trade unionist, Despoina Saltouridou, former President of the Federation, philologist, Philippos Ktenas, former Vice-President of the Federation, freelancer, Manolis Vargiagakis, former President of the Hellenic Community of Charleroi, restaurant owner, Giorgos Tsovilis, freelancer, Christos Vassilakis, Researcher and Giamboulakis Alevizos, trade unionist.
The first meeting of the new Board is scheduled for Tuesday, June 1st.
