Greece's ASE opened with Decline

Equity prices were declining at the opening of trade on Thursday on the Athens Stock Exchange (ASE), with the basic share price index down 1.86 percent, standing at 1,557.20 points at 11:15 am, and turnover at 24.210 million euros.
Individual sector indices were moving mostly downward, with the biggest gains in Chemicals, up 2.04 percent; and Public Utilities, up 1.35 percent.
The biggest losses were in Food & Beverage, down 4.00 percent; and Health, down 3.09 percent.
The FTSE/ASE 20 index for blue chip and heavily traded stocks was down 2.24 percent, the FTSE/ASE MID 40 index was down 0.30 percent, and the FTSE/ASE-80 small cap index was up 0.03 percent.
Of the stocks traded, 45 were up, 25 were down, and 22 were unchanged.
