New bomb explodes in northern Greek city

A bomb exploded in a courthouse in the northern Greek city of Thessaloniki, slightly injuring one person. The blast took place almost 12 hours after a similar one in Athens.
Today’s explosion, in the men’s bathroom at the courthouse, occurred at about 1:30 p.m. and was preceded by warning calls to a television station and to a newspaper, a police spokesman said.
The courthouse was evacuated before the blast, the spokesman said. No estimate of damage or other details were immediately available.
