A Greek-Belgian co-production is scheduled to begin filming during the month of April on the islands of Sifnos, Milos, Athens and Piraeus. The movie titled “Summer in the Aegean” is based on a novel by Eric Bouasase “Nikostratos”, a a story on the life of a Greek male teenager, his relationship with his father, portrayed by Emir Kustourica, his forst love and his friendship with a pelican. Trained pelicans have been brought on board the film’s production. Filming is scheduled to wrap up in June.
