White House Budget Director Peter Orszag Has Love Child With Greek Heiress

The former girlfriend of White House Budget Director Peter Orszag has given birth to his third child, the New York Post reported Wednesday. Claire Milonas, the daughter of New York-based Greek shipping magnate Spiros Milonas, gave birth to a girl, named Tatiana Zoe, on Nov. 17 — six weeks before Orszag announced his engagement to ABC News reporter Bianna Golodryga.

In a joint statement, Orszag and Milonas confirmed their former relationship and asked for privacy for their child: “We were in a committed relationship until the spring of 2009. In November, Claire gave birth to a beautiful baby girl. Although we are no longer together, we are both thrilled she is happy and healthy, and we would hope that everyone will respect her privacy.”

According to The Caucus, Orszag and Milonas dated for several months last year, before he joined President Obama’s economic team, and he learned of her pregnancy after they had broken up. He has two young children with his former wife, whom he divorced in 2005.

A source told the Post that Orszag’s relationship with Milonas ended in March, more than a month before he met Golodryga.
