She has inherited some $3 billion, but according to press reports, is caught up in a legal battle with his former wife, who has contested the will. The daughter of Greeks living in Constantinople, Marika began to work at the age of 17 in a pastry shop. There, she began an illicit affair with her 37-year-old married employer, which lasted 25 years before he finally divorced his wife and married her.
